Picture Paris between the wars. A bistrot below Pigalle, a zinc counter, a cabaret poster curling off the wall. Every regular at the bar keeps a flat metal case in his breast pocket, and every lid has something to say. We kept the case and changed the job. It now carries your cards and folded cash. No smoke, same attitude.

The art on the lid comes from that same old world: vintage labels, Art Nouveau posters, gothic engravings, retro prints, the kind of thing you'd find framed above a bistrot bench. Old images, a new everyday object, with a wink. Pick the one that speaks to you, then change your mind next season. New objects with old souls.

Why a case
The flat metal case was born in the nineteenth century to keep cigarettes from crushing in a pocket.
By the Art Deco years, it had become a small luxury carried close to the chest.
We kept the case and gave it a new job: your cards, with art on the lid.

Your everyday cards, or a few cards plus folded cash. Embossed cards take a little more room.

Will the art scratch?

Light marks appear with time, especially next to keys. Many people like the worn-in look. Keep it in a pocket of its own to keep it crisp.

Is it a cigarette case?

No. It's sized and sold for cards and cash. We don't sell or promote tobacco.

Does it block RFID?

We don't claim it does. It hasn't been tested for that.
